Athkar As-Sabah wa Al Masaa (Morning and evening remembrances of God):
These are some supplications to be said after the Fajr and Asr prayers.
They consist of some ayat or suras (Al Kursi, Al Ikhlas, and the last two suras) as well as some supplications in which we renew the Covenant with Allah every day, seek Allah's forgiveness, express thanks to Him, seek His protection from all harmful things.
Among the most important supplications one called 'sayyid al istighfar' meaning the best supplication for seeking Allah's forgiveness. It is very important to say it every day at the above two mentioned times:
A'uthu bika min sharri ma sana'at, Aboo'u laka bini'matika 'alayya, wa-aboo'u bithanbee, faghfir lee fa-innahu la yaghfirutu athunooba illa Ant.
O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can. I take refuge with You from the evil that I have committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.
